The Financial and Reporting Analysis course is designed to introduce the candidate to the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. It focuses on the terminology, understanding, and linkages between these primary statements.

The Financial Mathematics and Investments course introduces candidates to key mathematical techniques that will be employed in several areas of the curriculum. The course focuses on the concept of time value of money and its use in investment valuation. Features of the main asset classes and the mathematical techniques used to value them are also investigated. The course also introduces the topic area of derivatives, enabling the candidate to become familiar with the terminology surrounding these products.
